Packaging and Recyling
All of the paper, card and packaging is plastic free!
- I use Eco Craft as their products are made in the UK and they provided the fully biodegradable and compostable card wraps made from renewable corn / potato starch.
- They also provide the envelopes which are 100% recycled and without the little red plastic strip, commonly found on similar envelopes. These are all plastic free.
- The tissue paper is made from 99% recycled pulp fibres and it is PH neutral, making it an eco-friendly packaging choice. Also, 35% of electricity used to make the paper, came from renewable energy sources.
- All the cards and business cards are printed locally, under the Forest Stewardship Council, meaning it uses approved pulp from sustainable forests and also recycled envelopes.
- The logo stickers are on recycled paper, as well as printed using vegetable inks.
- The twool that is used to wrap the cards, comes from British Whiteface Dartmoor sheep. Wool is a very underused resource in the UK; it is renewable, strong and durable, and as a natural product releases nitrogen as it biodegrades. Please reuse your twool around your house and home and garden!
- Lastly, even if your package needs a little bit of extra tape on the back, this tape is made from renewable paper and NOT from plastic.
Below you can see how your multipack cards will arrive, very happily plastic free and eco-friendly! *Single cards will be shipped in a single recycled envelope - each card will be in a compostable wrap but will not be tissue wrapped.*
