About Sheppon Designs

Heather Walker - mother, artist, teacher, wildlife enthusiast!

I am a Herefordshire mother, artist and teacher and I like nothing better than exploring, observing, discovering and drawing our wonderful British wildlife. My father taught me most of what I know and he gave me the gift of fascination for butterflies, bees, birds and other wildlife. He taught me a huge amount and I shall always be grateful to him for this.

After I had been caught with the wildlife 'bug' I then started to venture into the wilds of my Herefordshire village, where I spent many happy hours discovering all the amazing things that were out in the meadows, woods and streams. I could never list all the treasures that I have been lucky enough to find.

All this wealth of wildlife that I experienced, then made me want to create and so I started at a very early age drawing, photographing and writing about all that I was seeing.

Thank you for showing an interest in my work and hopefully supporting a small new business, only in its second year!

I will be giving 5% of all profits of my cards to support Butterfly Conservation. So if you decide to buy, then you shall be helping this brilliant charity as well, whose president is the one and only Sir David Attenborough.

If you are also pleased with your cards when they arrive, then I would be extremely grateful for a review, if you had time!

Best wishes to you all and happy wildlife foraging!
